During the past week I have been so busy putting together the list of art stolen by Chad Love Lieberman on Art4Love.com, that I really have not spent much time myself going through the screenshots and thumbnails. I have only looked at the individual thumbs and shots that people have linked to me. Since I handed off the project to Tanya at Art4LoveisaFraud.com, I decided to spend some time trying to find some of the missing screenshots. Well the very first one I started looking for was not among the screenshots, I looked 3 times, it just isn't there. So I started going through the thumbnails and noticed that there are a lot of images there that are not in the screenshots.

That's when it hit me. Those thumbnails came from a google image search of the website which pulled up a history of images that had been on the site. It stands to reason that over the many years he had the site up he rotated images in and out of his gallery.

This made me start thinking about the best way to go about searching these images and what to do if a screenshot didn't exist. This is what I came up with:

This is the easiest way I found to match up screenshots from the thumbnails. Find the thumbnail of your image and click on the google image link underneath it. When the new window opens with the results, it will show a small preview of the image and JPG from homeip.net in the address bar. Next to that you will see describe image here.  Type over that in the address bar www.art4love.com.

This will bring up the results from art4love; showing the image and the title on the site. Under the title you will see the green url link and a purple link that says cache. Click on the cache link and it will bring up a cached copy of the the website. Of course it will look like crap and all the images are gone, but you can still see all the links even though they are broken. If you look right up above the image title, you will see the category name. You can use this information to help you navigate through the screenshots.

I have found it easier to go through the screenshots in slideshow mode and they are in order according to category, so if you have an image that is in Spirituality & Religion, you can skip your way through the slide until you get to that category. When you find your screenshot all you have to do is right click and copy url.

But what if there is no screenshot for your image? You have the thumbnail, but since it doesn't show where the image came from, it would not be useful evidence. My suggestion is to use the process I described above to find the google image results showing the image links for Art4Love.com and make a screenshot of the google results like you see in my first thumbnail and use that as your proof that your image was on Art4Love.com. It's not as nice as a screenshot, but it is proof none the less. Unfortunately, if it has been too long, you search results will not return anything of use. In this case, the thumbnails are all we have.
