Deirdre was born in California and grew up in Arkansas. Growing up in a country setting gave her a deep appreciation of nature, color, and beauty.
Deirdre started drawing and painting as a young girl. She pursued her passion for art through school where she focused on watercolor and mixed media painting.
She started creating digital art in 2009 focusing in fractal art. Her main interest has been in 3D fractal images. Deirdre's work uses 3D modeling and fractal repetition to create landscapes, botanical gardens, and science fiction inspired images.

The past couple of years have been very busy and overwhelming for me. There has been a lot of moving, new jobs, and so many other things (like lack of inspiration and computer issues) that pulled my focus away from my artwork and DA. I am slowly working my way back in starting with my true love, Incendia. I have missed the fractal community and I am hoping to be able to spend more time here.
I want to thank everyone for all the positive comments and favorites. I wish I had the time to address them all personally but I want you all to know that I appreciate it.

I haven't created any new art in a while because my computer was in storage while my husband and I have been moving around for his job. Since February, we have lived 3 different places but I think we have finally found a place to settle down here in Oklahoma. My husband is joining the ironworker's union so he won't have to travel around as much.
My parent's house burned down a month ago. Fortunately, they got out safely and they have renter's insurance so they can replace everything. Amazingly, all the photo albums were okay and they only lost the photos that were hanging on the wall. Pretty sure between my sisters and I we can replace those

I came across a blog post http://www.galeria-surreal.com/2012/03/25/fractal-art/ containing several fractal images, including my own, that have not been properly credited to the artists who created them. You may want to check it out and see if your work is included. Her contact info is on her About page in case you need to tell her to remove your images.
What aggravates me the most is that she is an artist. A visitor to her website could easily assume that these images are her work. There is no mention in her post that these images are not her work or that they belong to other artists. She even have a copyright notice on her About page for

I am so impressed by your creativity and versatility. I am new to Incendia. What are Dmaps and how are they used. I'm always looking for ways to improve.
